Dr. Felter received his literary education in the schools of Fond du Lac, having graduated from the High School with the Class of '85.  Prior to entering the medical college, he pursued a course of study under the direction of Dr. Wiley, of the above-named city.  Having completed his college course, he has since been actively engaged in the practice of his profession.

In Plymouth, on the 12th of October, 1892, was celebrated the marriage of Dr. Felter and Miss Emma Schlichting.  The lady is a native of Plymouth, and a daughter of Mrs. Theresa S. Schlichting.  Mrs. Felter's father is deceased.

Dr. Felter is a member of Hiawatha Council No. 520, R. A., and of the Knights of the Maccabees.  On the 1st of January, 1893, he succeeded to the practice of Fitzgibbons Bros. in Plymouth, though he had practiced in this city since 1891.  He is a young man of good natural ability, and by thorough preparation has laid the foundation for a successful future.  His practice has been very satisfactory, and is rapidly increasing.
