ALBERT H. SCHRAM, of Plymouth, one of the leading furniture dealers in Sheboygan County, was born in Milwaukee, August 26, 1854, and is a son of Frederick and Adelaide (Moeller) Schram, who came to Sheboygan County in 1856.  He received a common-school education, and afterward learned the trade of carriage-maker in the wood-work department at Baraboo, Wis.  He worked at his trade as a journeyman until 1879, when he opened a shop in Plymouth.

    On the 20th of November, 1878, he was married in Plymouth to Miss Emma Bade, a daughter of Christopher and Wilhelmine (Borges) Bade.  Mrs. Schram was born in Plymouth.  Mr. and Mrs. Schram have five children, three sons and two daughters:  Alfred H., Nora Louisa, Clarence Albert, Gustav Martin and Clara Lydia.

    Mr. Schram carried on the wagon and carriage-making business at Plymouth until 1888, when he sold out and engaged in the furniture and undertaking business.  He owns his store, a brick building of two stories and basement, with a frontage of twenty-eight feet and one hundred feet in depth.  The first floor front is nearly all plate class, making a fine display room.  Mr. Schram carries a $45,000 stock, and is doing the leading business, in his line, in Sheboygan County, outside of the city of Sheboygan.

    He and his wife are members of the Lutheran Church.  In his political views, Mr. Schram is a Democrat.  He has served as Alderman from the First Ward, and has been Chief of the Plymouth Fire Department for eight years, being the present incumbent.  Mr. Schram has been a permanent resident of Plymouth since 1875, and is recognized as one of Plymouth's most enterprising and successful business men.
